Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said quarterback Dante Moore is in recovery and able to move after a head collision that removed him from Saturday night’s 41-27 victory over USC. Lanning, who has not yet spoken directly with Moore, said the player is being treated at Los Angeles General Medical Center and will continue to be assessed.

The injury occurred early in the second quarter when USC defensive player Desman Stephens II lowered his shoulder and struck Moore in the head, causing the quarterback to fall to the field. After being stretchered off, Moore was taken to the hospital while teammates gathered nearby.

Backup quarterback Dylan Raiola stepped in, completing 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns, helping the No. 20 Ducks secure the win and improve their ranking before a bye week.
