A24 released a full trailer for the 174-minute documentary "You Can See Everything," which follows filmmaker Nathan Fielder as he spends time at the San Diego home of former Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. The trailer shows Holmes answering Fielder's question about her responsibility for the fraud convictions that led to a $140 million loss for investors and an 11-year prison sentence, with a planned transfer to a halfway house in August 2027. Holmes' partner, Billy Evans, appears in the trailer as Fielder asks whether Holmes might be exploiting his family's wealth.
The film includes close-up shots of Holmes, including a moment where she says it has taken a long time to feel comfortable being seen crying. Early reviews after a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival described the documentary as a unique blend of reality-TV style and psychodrama. The Motion Picture Association assigned it an R rating for language and graphic nudity. The documentary is slated for a wide release on Oct. 16.
