Apple expected to unveil redesigned MacBook Pro, new Apple TV 4K and HomePad in October

Summary

Apple plans to launch a redesigned MacBook Pro with touch support, an updated Apple TV 4K model, and a smart display called HomePad during October product events.

Apple is slated to continue its product rollout in October with three anticipated announcements. The company is expected to introduce a redesigned MacBook Pro, possibly branded as MacBook Ultra, featuring a new industrial design, an OLED screen, Dynamic Island, and optional touch input and a cellular modem. This would be the first major redesign of the MacBook Pro in five years and the first Mac to incorporate a touchscreen.

A new generation of Apple TV 4K is also rumored for an October release. The device is said to be powered by an A19 or A19 Pro processor and to include Siri AI capabilities. The current Apple TV 4K, launched in 2022, retails for $199 after recent price increases.

In addition, Apple may launch a smart display dubbed "HomePad," which combines a speaker with a screen and runs a hybrid operating system drawing elements from iOS, tvOS and watchOS. The product is expected to feature Siri AI, a camera, customizable widgets and integrated Apple apps such as Photos, Notes, Music and Calendar.

Analysts note that these launches would expand Apple’s hardware portfolio and reinforce its focus on integrated services across devices.
