Taylor Swift changes engagement ring in promotional images for new single

Summary

Taylor Swift replaced her 10-carat diamond engagement ring with an emerald-cut stone in images promoting her upcoming single “Patient Zero,” which will be released on September 25.

Taylor Swift has been shown wearing a different engagement ring in promotional material for her forthcoming single “Patient Zero.” The new images feature an emerald-cut diamond set in a silver, platinum or white-gold band, replacing the custom 10-carat yellow-gold ring she received from Travis Kelce in August 2025. Swift announced the single on Instagram, noting that it will be released on September 25 and is available for pre-order for a limited 24-hour window.

The artist is also offering three collector’s-edition CDs of “Patient Zero,” each with distinct cover artwork. Since marrying Kelce, Swift has added a $16,000 diamond-encrusted eternity band to her ring stack, which she displayed at Kelce’s first football game of the season on September 14.

"I've been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single 'Patient Zero' will be out on September 25 and it's available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours," Swift wrote in the Instagram post.

The couple wed in early July at Madison Square Garden, with roughly 1,000 guests in attendance.
