Social media influencer Braden Peters charged with rape in Massachusetts

Summary

Massachusetts prosecutors have filed rape and related charges against 20-year-old influencer Braden E. Peters, accused of assaulting a 17-year-old girl at his parents' home.

Massachusetts prosecutors have charged 20-year-old social media influencer Braden E. Peters, known online as Clavicular, with one count of rape and additional offenses after an investigation by the Chatham Police Department. The charges stem from an alleged incident in 2025 at his parents' Cape Cod residence, where the victim, then 17, reportedly was offered money to create "looksmaxxing" videos and was provided alcohol.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Orleans District Court, the victim arrived at the home by Uber on May 23, 2025, was greeted by Peters' mother and grandmother, and was escorted to a bedroom where Peters was streaming live. Police records state that Peters was aware of the girl's age and instructed her to claim she was 18 and that the alcohol she was drinking was water. The complaint alleges she became heavily intoxicated, later made out with Peters, fell asleep, and awoke to find him having sex with her without consent.

The victim reported the assault to Chatham police on June 4, 2026, accompanied by her attorney. If convicted, Peters faces up to 20 years in prison. Police have not been able to contact Peters for comment, and his publicist and father declined to speak. > "At this time, Mr. Peters has not reached out to the Chatham Police Department regarding this case," the complaint noted.
