Samsung's One UI 8 Update: Rollout Schedule for Galaxy Devices

Samsung is preparing to launch its Android 16-based One UI 8 update, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series on September 18, 2025. This initial rollout will include the Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25 models.

Subsequent updates are scheduled for other Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S25 Edge, S24 series, and select A-series models are expected to receive the update on September 25. The Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are slated for October 2, while the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are set for October 6. Additional A-series devices will follow throughout October, with the final update for the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro anticipated around November 10.

The One UI 8 update introduces several enhancements, including improved personalization options, advanced multitasking capabilities, and enhanced sharing features.

Users are advised to back up their data before updating, as downgrading to a previous version may require a factory reset.
