Prince Harry Says Family Enjoys Simple British Activities Since Returning to UK

Summary

Prince Harry told Hello! magazine that his children have been embracing everyday British customs such as walking, eating Marmite on crumpets and attending school since the family moved back to the United Kingdom.

Prince Harry said his children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, have been taking frequent walks and trying classic British foods since the family’s return to the United Kingdom. Speaking at the WellChild Awards, the duke noted that the kids now enjoy Marmite on crumpets, a snack they previously resisted while living in California. He added that beans on toast had not been well received when he first introduced it to the family.

The remarks came during Harry’s third public appearance since relocating in August, following the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards and the launch of the INSPIRE education program. He appeared without Meghan Markle, who has been seen in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire, including a meeting with Ellen DeGeneres at a local pub.

Recent weeks have seen the family address security concerns, prompting the removal of Archie and Lilibet from their prep school. Harry confirmed that the children are now enrolled in school and described their “Monday blues” as a challenge he lifted by sharing stories about the awards ceremony, which sparked their curiosity.

Harry did not provide further details about the reasons for the move, but earlier reports indicated a desire to be closer to his father, King Charles III.
