Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce appeared together at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, marking their first public award-show appearance as an engaged couple. Swift received seven awards, including Pop Album of the Year for her latest release, The Life of a Showgirl. During her acceptance remarks she said the album was inspired by the energy of live audiences and added that it felt "happy, confident and free" because of her fiancé, who was present at the ceremony.
The couple, who announced their engagement in August 2024, have previously been linked through multiple public events, including a Chiefs game in Kansas City and a concert in Buenos Aires where Swift gave Kelce a shout-out. Their relationship has been documented in various media appearances and social-media posts.
"The Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy that I felt looking into crowds and seeing you guys every single night," Swift told the audience. "This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who's here tonight."
Kelce, who co-designed his engagement ring with Artifex Fine Jewelry, has referenced his podcast "New Heights" in Swift's songs, and the pair have been noted for supporting each other's professional endeavors.
