Apple launches settlement website for $250 million class action payout to eligible iPhone owners
Apple has opened an online portal for U.S. iPhone owners to claim a portion of a $250 million settlement related to alleged false advertising of Siri AI and Apple Intelligence.
Apple has opened a website allowing U.S. iPhone owners to file claims for a class-action settlement worth $250 million. The lawsuit, settled in May, alleged the company misled customers about the rollout of Siri AI and Apple Intelligence features. Apple said the settlement would let it "stay focused" on delivering innovative products and services.
Eligible claimants must have purchased one of the listed iPhone models between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 for personal use. The covered models include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
"This settlement allows us to stay focused on delivering the most innovative products and services to our users," Apple said in a statement.
Each approved claim will receive a payment of $25 per device, which could rise to as much as $95 depending on the total number of claims filed. The claim-submission window runs from September 21, 2026 through December 21, 2026. A final approval hearing is scheduled for February 24, 2027, with payments expected after that date.
Claimants will receive an email containing a claim ID and PIN, but the website also permits filing without that information by providing the Apple account email and device phone number.
