Philadelphia overcame a 20-17 deficit in the final seconds, with quarterback Jalen Hurts throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass to secure a 24-20 win over Tennessee.

Philadelphia kept its 2-0 start with a 24-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday. The Eagles trailed 20-17 with less than 10 seconds left, but quarterback Jalen Hurts connected with rookie receiver Darius Cooper for a 3-yard touchdown that proved decisive.

Hurts finished the game completing 26 of 37 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith contributed 10 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, while running back Tank Bigsby added a short rushing score. Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward threw for 183 yards and ran for both of the Titans’ touchdowns.

The contest featured several lead changes. Tennessee opened the scoring after a 92-yard interception return set up a 1-yard quarterback sneak. Philadelphia answered with a rushing touchdown and a 22-yard pass to Smith, taking a 14-10 lead at halftime. The teams exchanged field goals and a second Ward rushing touchdown in the third quarter to tie the game at 17-17. After a fourth-quarter turnover by Hurts, the Titans drove for a field goal that gave them a three-point lead with under two minutes remaining.

On the final drive, Hurts completed a 20-yard pass on third-and-6, followed by a series of short completions that positioned the Eagles at the Tennessee 3-yard line. Two plays later, Cooper caught his first NFL touchdown, securing the win for Philadelphia.

Statistically, the Eagles outgained the Titans 341-291 in total yards and held possession for nearly 13 more minutes. Both teams struggled with turnovers, each committing two interceptions.

"We stayed composed and executed in the final moments," Hurts said after the game.
