Frankie Muniz posts tire-safety video on Instagram after personal disclosure
Actor Frankie Muniz shared a tire-maintenance tutorial on Instagram a day after describing a recent personal low point, while his estranged wife posted a separate reflective message.
Actor Frankie Muniz posted a short video on Instagram demonstrating the “penny test” for tire tread depth, advising followers to check their tires before rainy weather and to tag Priority Tire. The 40-year-old, who also competes in NASCAR, wrote that the test remains effective and explained the legal minimum tread depth.
Muniz had attracted attention the previous day when he posted a photo with a caption saying the past six weeks felt like a “nightmare” and that he had reached “rock bottom,” adding that he hoped the experience would prompt personal change. He said the low point marked the start of “uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work.”
Later, his estranged wife, Paige Price, shared an Instagram Story containing a cryptic comment about perspective, accompanied by a video set to an acoustic song. The couple, who announced their divorce in July after ten years of marriage, have not clarified any connection between the posts.
“The old penny test still works. Insert a penny into the tread with Lincoln’s head facing down. If you can see the top of his head, your tread is at (or below) 2/32″ — that’s the legal minimum and a safety problem in rain.” “The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from. Everything [has] felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time.” “This isn’t the end of the story. It’s the part where I start doing the work … the uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work.”
