Philadelphia investigation links Raymond Horsch to missing women and alleged snuff videos

Resumen

Authorities are probing the disappearance of five women tied to a house owned by the late Raymond Horsch, whose son was found with an ID belonging to one of the victims.

Philadelphia police are investigating the disappearance of five women linked to a residence associated with the late Raymond Horsch. The probe began after Horris's son, Eugene Horsch, was stopped by officers and found carrying an identification card belonging to one of the missing women. Investigators have recovered five urns believed to contain human remains, as well as drugs, firearms, chemicals and counterfeit FBI and DEA credentials.

Family members say Raymond Horsch, who died in 2025, was known to solicit prostitutes and operated a “flop house” in the city’s Kensington neighborhood, an area known for sex work. Jonathan Halloran-Koren, the cousin of missing 27-year-old Nicole Fusaro, told reporters that Fusaro had struggled with drug addiction and turned to sex work for income. He said he began searching for her in 2020 and was told by acquaintances that Horsch’s name was associated with suspicious activity.

Police have identified video footage showing Horsch using a zip tie to strangle a woman, prompting forensic experts to describe the act as indicative of torture and sexual sadism. Alexandra “A.J.” Greer, a forensic psychology consultant, said the behavior aligns with patterns seen in sexually motivated serial offenders who target vulnerable individuals such as sex workers and drug users. Forensic nurse Rachel Fischer added that non-fatal strangulation is a strong indicator of future lethal violence.

The FBI is processing more than one million files seized from the Horsch household, with about 30 % reviewed so far. Authorities have identified roughly 60 individuals connected to the case, but no homicide charges have been filed. Eugene Horsch remains in federal custody on firearms and fraudulent-credential charges.

“I started looking for Nicole in 2020, and I asked the girls. ‘Who’s been around? Who’s creepy out?’ They mentioned Ray’s name,” Halloran-Koren said.

“The graphic nature of what he said was never described to my family… it is just despicable and appalling,” Halloran-Koren added during a televised interview.

The investigation continues as officials seek to determine whether the disturbing videos were staged or depict actual violence.
