Apple adds five languages to Siri AI in iOS 27.2 beta

Summary

Apple's iOS 27.2 beta 1, released for developers, expands Siri AI support to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, beyond the English-only launch version.

Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 27.2, adding support for Siri AI in five additional languages. The update, which follows the initial iOS 27 launch that offered Siri AI only in English, now enables the feature for devices set to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese or Spanish. Apple had indicated that more languages would be added shortly after the initial release, and the beta makes that promise a reality for developers testing the software.

"If your device is set to English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, or Spanish, you can now access the more powerful Siri AI," the company’s documentation notes. The beta also introduces a new Health app, though details about that feature were not disclosed in the release notes.
