Podcasts, your way: shows, hosts and a clearer FL Plus

The audio side of FactsLane has grown, so 1.8 gives you one place to control it.

A Podcasts section

Open it and you will find:

• Switches for the weekly shows. Turn Good Week, Science Week and Tech Week on or off. Shows you switch on are the ones that appear in your feed and can be downloaded automatically.
• Your personal podcast, available with FL Plus.
• Host choice. For episodes with a single host, pick a male or a female voice.
• How the hosts address you. Set the name or form they use.

Credits in the app

When you want more personal episodes, you can now buy credits directly in the app, without leaving for the website. One wallet covers both the app and the web.

A more honest FL Plus screen

We rewrote the FL Plus screen. We removed things that were not really part of the plan and added what is: the personal podcast, offline listening and the rest of what you actually get. If something is on the screen, it is in the plan.

How to try it

Update to FactsLane 1.8 on iOS. The Podcasts section is in settings, and the FL Plus screen opens from your profile. Android is rolling out next.
