Credits: one wallet for personal episodes and checks
Some things in FactsLane cost real work every time you ask: a personal podcast episode written and voiced for you, or a fact check on a claim you bring. Credits are how we handle that fairly.
What changed
- Top up when you need to. If your credits run out, you can buy more in packs of three sizes, once, without changing your plan.
- One wallet. Credits used for personal episodes and for fact checks now come from the same balance. You no longer have to keep track of two.
- A clear record. Every credit that arrives or is spent is written down, so your balance always adds up.
One credit covers one fact check or one solo personal episode.
Why credits
A subscription is a good fit for steady use, but personal episodes and checks are on-demand: some weeks you want several, some weeks none. Paying per use for those, on top of the plan, means you never pay for episodes you did not ask for, and heavy users are not capped by a number we picked in advance.
How to try it
Open your account on factslane.com and look for credits. Packs are bought on the web at the moment, and in-app purchase arrives with version 1.8 on iOS.
What it does not change
The feed, the digests and the weekly shows stay as they are. Credits only apply to on-demand work.
